For False Prophets And False Teachers

False prophets and false teachers are a major threat to Christians. It would be great if false prophets and false teachers would all identify themselves as counterfeits, but that is far from reality! False prophets are actually ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing (Mt. 7:15). They look harmless, even Christian, but are extremely dangerous and lethal to the sheep.

In our day, there are hundreds of well known people who are considered spokemen for Christianity and who have changed (and are changing) grace into a license for immorality (Jude 4) or taught some other dangerous doctrine which imperils the truth loving saints. Consequently, as with Paul who named false teachers, we have too for the benefit of the body of Christ and SOULS. False prophets and false teachers are dangerous sheep killers and need to be identified. Here is how Paul did it:

Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. (2 Tim 2:16-18)

List Of False Teachers

Paul named Hymenaeus and Philetus and was clear about their false doctrine. In their case it was, They say that the resurrection has already taken place and some Christians had their faith destroyed (died spiritually) because of them! We follow Paul's example below, that is, we name and document the dangerous error/s of popular and influential teachers for the sake of SOULS. May God be pleased and you be blessed.
