This false religion (headed by antipope Benedict XVI) that claims to be Catholic is the furthest thing from Catholic as your article states and is full of contradiction. This false religion alleges that Christ denying Muslims and Jews can get to Heaven. The true Catholic Church has NEVER taught these heresies. The Vatican ceased to proclaim the Catholic Faith in 1878 with the death of the last Catholic Pope, Pius IX. We are in the Great Apostasy! But make no mistake. Christ founded the Catholic Church upon St. Peter. The Catholic Church still exists because as Christ said, "the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it;" but it exists in a small faithful remnant who hold onto the Catholic Faith, started by Jesus Christ and passed on from the Apostles through all the valid Popes in Catholic Church history, Pope St. Peter through Pope Pius IX who died in 1878.

(Bible Answer #1 to him) Greetings in Jesus' name. There is a MAJOR problem with your presentation, which you have not mentioned. That glaring problem is: Catholicism, both now and before 1878 was not and still is not teaching the true plan of salvation, which Jesus and the Apostles declared and defended. In fact, Catholicism has consistently fought against the Biblical plan of salvation to their own harm and to the destruction of hundreds of millions of SOULS. See the Council of Trent for their false anathemas on others.
When I was raised a Roman Catholic I was taught one must be Roman Catholic to have salvation and even Greek Catholics would be damned! That was before Vatican Council II. Since then, the plan of salvation presented to the current pew sitting Catholics has changed some, but still remains powerless to change a person from a sin addict to a new creation in Christ. Like many protestant sects and denominations which teach a social gospel, Catholicism remains a mere form of godliness and void of God's power to transform because it is counterfeit.
My spiritual life began, NOT when I was infant baptized and told by Catholicism I was then born again, but instead when I repented of my sins and cried out for God's mercy WITHOUT going through the priest or Mary. My faith is not in the sacraments, being a Catholic or Mary. My faith is 100% in Jesus, who is my “life, sweetness and hope.” That faith is a submissive faith, which follows my Lord Jesus. I love (obey) him. I properly exchanged the Mary of Catholicism as my “life, sweetness and hope” for the Lord Jesus, to my major benefit. You need to do the same. NOTE: It is not Jesus or Mary, as the one we should look to, but Jesus, according to Jesus and his Apostles. Mary has absolutely no role in our personal salvation at all.
The Mary of Catholicism is not the Mary of the Bible. The real mother of Jesus is not the sovereign, sinless, ever virgin Queen of Heaven and mediatrix/dispenser of all graces. For your own SOUL'S sake, drop all preconceived ideas about God and salvation as you were taught and read the New Testament. It is final authority (2 Tim. 3:16,17). What you do with that message will determine where you spend eternity.
NOTE: Peter was not a Pope. Most people will go to hell (Mt. 7:13,14). Don't follow the crowd or you will join them! God bless you.

The above prayer was made by St. Alphonsus Liguori who speaks more beautifully of the Most Immaculate and Blessed Virgin Mary than I ever could, but I adopt it as my own, and pray that I will never fail to extol her as rightful Queen of Heaven and Earth and the dispenser of all graces! (Bible Answer #2 to him) Have I become your enemy because I tell you the truth? Your faith is in being a Catholic and the fabricated mythical Mary of Catholicism. Neither has any Scriptural backing. To remain an idolater, as you currently are, will drag you to hell. (To pray to and/or trust in the invented Mary of the Catholic church is idolatry.)
The reference in Canticles (or Song of Solomon in the Protestant Bibles) is not Mary! Neither is she ever mentioned in Proverbs as one to trust in as has been distorted to say by the Catholic authorities.
Alphonsus Liguori was not a true saint, but only a Catholic saint, which is much different. Liguori is condemned by scores of Bible verses and, therefore, could never be led by the Holy Spirit which inspired the Bible. Since you have blocked this response, hopefully you will somehow get this answer too. Remember Luke 11:27,28. Your SOUL is in the greatest danger.

(Bible Question) Please - I do not understand the meaning of "John 1:1." What is the meaning of the word being with God and is God again? Some say Jesus is the son and others say he is God. What is the difference between Jesus and Jehovah? Who then is the true God? Why do some people confuse others? Jesus asked one of his disciples that "what does the people say that i am?" after getting so many answers, he posses the same question to them and one said, he was the son of God. Why did he accept and stayed quiet if he was God and not the son? Please I wish some one should give me answers that may lead me to the right track, as far as religion is concern. thanks.
(Bible Answers) Greetings in Jesus' name. You asked several questions. Here are brief answers. John 1:1 says:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Word is Jesus (John 1:14). He existed in the beginning with the Father, who is mentioned also in John 1:1 as God. Jesus himself is God BY NATURE. (He is NOT the person of the Father, but of the same NATURE.)
NOTE: As you and I are both of the same NATURE, that is, human, Jesus is God by NATURE and the Father is God by NATURE (as is the Holy Spirit), according to the Bible. The one true and living God exists in three persons, as just referred to. They are NOT 3 Gods, but 1 God by NATURE which exists in 3 different persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
IMPORTANT: What confuses people most is Jesus is both God by NATURE and man by NATURE! The deity of Christ is Biblical, as is the humanity of Christ. His humanity started when he was born in Bethlehem to carry out redemption for us. Remember the following passage:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross! (Phil 2:6-8)
Jesus is the Son of God, not God the Father. Again, Jesus is of the same NATURE as the Father and the Holy Spirit. We have much more detail on all of this at our website. People who wrongly reject the deity of Christ, lethally don't go to Jesus for eternal life:
You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. (John 5:39,40)

(Bible Question) ...I do have a question regarding the end times. A person who just wrote a book on the end times said the day Israel signs a treaty with Palestinians, or Iran, forget which nations, will be the day of the rapture. But i was always told no man knows the day or the hour. Also, when is the temple in Jerusalem going to be rebuilt? I have heard the teaching that it will be aft. the 31/2 years--into the trib. Also, Will the christians face nuclear war, or will the rapture take place first? thanks for you help.
(Bible Answer) Greetings in Jesus' name. What that person wrote is not found in the Bible. He is probably reading between the lines and trying to make it fit into current events. The rapture will NOT occur until after the tribulation. The Bible teaches a POST trib rapture, not an any moment pre-trib rapture. YES, there will be nuclear war before the rapture. The things described during the first 6 trumpets in Revelation seem to be a nuclear war to us. I sincerely hope we are wrong! It might NOT be our generation, but it certainly could be. Walk holy. Keep yourself pure. No one knows when he will die. We must remain ready to enter eternity. Be faithful to JESUS, regardless what happens. Rev. 2:10,11. God bless you.

(Bible Question) I want to thank you for you obvious dedication to preaching and teaching holiness. There are many, many things in which you and I agree....
The only subject that I have found in which we disagree is the prosperity message. Although I so agree with you that there are some that have taken the prosperity message and perverted it for personal financial gain. They have allowed covetousness into their lives, and for that they will have to answer to God.
However, I have found that those who teach against the prosperity message and direct their anger towards teachers like Kenneth Copeland - do not have the slightest clue as to what they "really" teach. They repeat what they hear from others. The difference between what is really taught (by Kenneth Copeland for example) and what is "said" that they teach - is drastically different. The "Bible Answer Man", Hank Hanegraaff for example - will (in the words of Ricky Ricardo . . ) have a lot of "splanning to do" before God.
I have listend to Kenneth Copeland since 1978. What is taught by Kenneth Copland ...and others are completely in line with the Word of God regarding God's blessings upon his obedient children and our rights and privileges that was bought and paid for by Christ Jesus. I have read your arguments concerning this and I am assuming you are referring to those who abuse the Word of God for financial gain, and not those who teach the pure, unadulterated Word of God, whose hearts are right and whose motives are pure.
Aside from this disagreement - I do thank God for you and the message of The Believers' Conditional Security. I was raised Southern Baptist and I know who damaging the doctrine of OSAS can be, and I will do everything in my power to share the gospel concerning this to all who will listen. (Bible Answers) Greetings in Jesus' name. It is great we agree on so many big and important issues related to salvation. Regarding the Prosperity Message, there is no doubt, there were very rich and godly people in the Bible, who were not greedy idolaters like so many who are wealthy in our day. Abraham and Job are just two, but that is not the Prosperity Message I was taught about 30 years ago. Hagin and Copeland, who I closely listened to years ago, taught ALL Christians should have wealth and if you don't then your faith is weak and flawed somehow. It was Hagin who said he has Cadillac faith while some others only have Volkswagen faith. I was very acquainted with their teachings. As I read through the New Testament I could see problems, especially in 1 Tim. 6:5:
... men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. (1 Tim 6:5)
That was the verse that blasted me free from the Prosperity Message. If that isn't enough we then come to this:
But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. (1 Tim 6:8-12)
After the Prosperity teachers get done with you, you will definitely not be content with food and clothing. Their teachings generate an eagerness for money and think such reflects great faith. That is the opposite of what our Christian goals are to be. Furthermore, some people who were examples of faith are described as:
Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated -- the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground. These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. (Heb 11:35-39)
Throughout the NT the eternal is magnified and the temporal is de-emphasized. SOULS should be our goal, as was the case with Paul:
I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved. (1 Cor 10:33)
Paul was dressed in rags at times (1 Cor. 4:11), yet wrote half of the NT! If you have wealth, store up treasures in heaven with it. Go after SOULS. God bless you.

It seems it smashes into the church traditions you were taught and don't want to let go of. Multitudes of people are going to hell and you remain opposed to Christian women witnessing to help get them saved! Stop allowing human commands and church traditions sway you away from the Biblical message. HOLINESS is to be taught by all Christians, including women. God bless you.

You only have 1 verse yet because of your church tradition as an Anabaptist you can't see the truth. You have magnified a piece of white cloth as the “head covering” to the zenith of importance. Do you actually think unsaved people are going to know they should repent and place a submissive faith in Jesus for their soul's salvation just by seeing a Mennonite woman with her so-called “head covering”? THINK! Will the unsaved think the same when they see a Muslim woman with her “head covered”? Wake up! Your warped and unscriptural emphasis places God fearing women in a bondage to mere church tradition by misusing scripture. How can you magnify 1 Cor. 11:6, then nullify the clarity of 1 Cor. 11:15,16
If a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice--nor do the churches of God.
So, before you get contentious over this, write out and ponder 1 Cor. 11:15,16 ten times until it sinks in. Again, women are to verbally witness to the lost. You have taken issue with that Biblical fact and tried to change the subject to your pet tradition—a piece of cloth of a certain color, size, shape and material on a woman's head.
NOTE: It is worse for a man to have a covering, than for a woman to have no head covering (1 Cor. 11:3-5)! Do you teach that?

(Bible Question) The passage in Acts 10 and 11 about Cornelius being a devout and religious man but yet being unsaved brought a question to my mind and that is, how was Cornelius worshipping God, it says that he prayed and was very devout etc. yet He didnt know Christ at that point until Peter preached unto him, did he worship as the Jews of that day did? He was a gentile but Im not quite sure who he prayed to or who he worshipped! Thanks!
(Bible Answer) It is not clear how Cornelius worshiped God when he was yet unsaved, but it was probably as the Jews did. That seems to also be how the Ethiopian eunuch worshiped too (Acts 8:37). The point was, unsaved people are highly religious at times and even worship God! There are many in the churches in our day like Cornelius was before Peter came, that is, they worship God yet are on the road to hell in their sins. God bless you.
