King David did not lose his salvation when in adultery and murder (p. 93);Norman Geisler calls himself a moderate Calvinist and teaches eternal security and a license to sin. In Four Views of Eternal Security, the two men opposing eternal security presented a weak and pitiful defense of the truth. Many others could have done a much better job. Four Views on Eternal Security is NOT a fair representation of the NO eternal security Christian position and should not be viewed as such! Eternal security is an untenable position, as shown in The Believer's Conditional Security: Eternal Security Refuted.a person can "follow Satan" and remain saved (p. 97); one can be sexually immoral in incest and be on the road to heaven (p. 107); one does not have to be a faithful Christian to get into heaven (p. 108); God only requires an act of faith for salvation (p. 110); the repentance needed for salvation is only a change of mind and not turning from sin (p. 105)
By this gospel you are saved, IF you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. (1 Cor 15:2)Get the book the devil doesn't want you to read! It is, The Believer's Conditional Security: Eternal Security Refuted In it, Norman Geisler and the security in sin arguments presented in Four Views of Eternal Security are falsified. We have come to share in Christ IF we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. (Heb 3:14)
My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. (James 5:19,20, NASB)
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil (1 John 3:7,8)
See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. IF it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he promised us--even eternal life. I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. (1 John 2:24-26)
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. (Rom 6:22)
Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death. (Rev 2:10,11)
The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest IF we do not give up. (Gal 6:8,9)
If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it. (Ezek 33:18) [QUESTION FOR NORMAN GEISLER: How did King David "die" when he turned to evil?]
But suppose the servant says to himself, 'My master is taking a long time in coming,' and he then begins to beat the menservants and maidservants and to eat and drink and get drunk. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers. (Luke 12:45,46) [NOTE: Unbelievers will go to the lake of fire (Rev. 21:8) the same place as for drunkards!]
