One large loving, joyful godly family for all eternity long.
Oh what beautiful, unusual sights and wonderful sounds are there;
We'll never be separated by death again plus nothing to ever fear.
[Rev. 4:6-8; Heb. 2:11; 12:22-24; Rev. 5:13,14; 21:2-5]
The repentant thief on the cross is in Paradise, that's for sure;
In his last hours, he went to Jesus and got spiritually pure.
Jesus invites all to come to him and for their soul to find rest;
Elsewhere in scripture, those that do so are called the blessed.
[Lk. 23:42,43; Mt. 11:28,29; Lk. 8:21]
'Thank you Jesus' might be your first words, if you get in;
Regardless the price you pay now that'll be a definite win.
Only the Father and Jesus are enthroned, with no female sovereign too;
We shall behold the Ancient of Days and Jesus, who is faithful and true.
[Lk. 14:33; Heb. 1:3,8; Dan. 7:9; Rev. 3:14; 5:6,7]
Our earthly tests will be over with all the painful trials, struggles and fears;
No more injuries, sicknesses, persecutions, sorrows or sighing will be there.
Extreme peace in that bright place plus the tree of life;
It's a grand and holy place free of all wickedness and strife.
[James 1:12; 1 Pet. 4:12; 2 Tim. 3:12; Isa. 35:10]
In heaven, every knee bows before Jesus and tongue confesses him as Lord;
He's the king of kings and out of his mouth can come a destructive sword.
Jesus will, to the overcomers, give out the crown of life and more;
[Phil 2:10,11; Rev. 19:15,19; 2:10,11; 2:17; etc.]
The blood of the slain lamb of God is there exalted in song;
Can you imagine the glorious singing by that heavenly throng?
Now some are so ignorant and dark they think hell will be a ball;
How horribly sad for them unless they turn and respond to God's call.
[Rev. 5:9; Eph. 4:18; Mt. 22:14; Acts 26:20]
If you get to paradise heaven and miss the lake of fire, my friend;
It will be because of faith in Jesus, who you followed to the end.
Many of the redeemed have gone astray after being washed in Jesus' blood;
They are like the sow that was cleansed, then returns to wallow in the mud.
[Mt. 25:46; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; Mt. 24:10; 2 Pet 2:20-22; James 5:19,20]
Don't ignore or reject this opportunity, as heaven can be your home too;
But your name must be in the book of life, as one of the righteous few.
Drop down to your knees and humbly repent from your heart;
You must follow Jesus now and from your many idols depart.
[Mt. 11:28; 2 Pet. 3:9; Rev. 21:27; Lk. 9:23; 13:3; 1 Thess. 1:9]
Tell the lost the eternal message of God's holy written word;
Their soul remains in the greatest danger, anything less is absurd.
Make your life count for God now and keep him as your first love;
Keep making every effort to get into your heavenly home above.
[ Lk. 13:23,24; 2 Tim. 4:3,4; Mk. 8:36,37; Mt. 22:36-38; Rev. 2:4; 20:15]
