Calvinists do NOT have ears to hear. Paul quoted Jesus where the Lord's warning refuted eternal security:

But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. (Mat. 10:33)
if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; (2 Tim. 2:12)
**It is astounding that anyone could be so misled as to profess personal salvation, yet not magnify Jesus' teachings directly, especially in light of John 12:48. The head of the household of faith is Christ and they call themselves Christians, yet, somehow, they believe Christ's teachings were for the Jews and are not applicable to them because "we are in the 'age of grace' " (which they teach as a license to sin Jude 3:4).

Read this testimony of a former Baptist deacon who stated that the teaching of Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) is a TRAINED THOUGHT PROCESS. And this training has pervaded most all of the seminaries and Bible colleges.

David was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned forty years. (2 Sam. 5:4)

Therefore, David died at the age of seventy; 70 was referred to as "a good old age":
He died at A GOOD OLD AGE, having enjoyed long life, wealth and honor. His son Solomon succeeded him as king. (1 Chron. 29:28)
**IF you are 70, that is "a good old age", and based on Psalm 90:10, we are supposed to live to 70 years, or 80 - if we have the strength. PREPARE TO MEET GOD, regardless of your age.

Is knowing the Bible, in itself, the key to spiritual success? Remember, Solomon wrote part of the Bible; yet his knowledge and wisdom did not keep him from turning to idolatry at the end of his life (1 Kings 11:4). The key is:
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. DO WHAT IT SAYS. (James 1:22)
**Be ever present-minded that HELL exists and that YOU can yet go to ETERNAL FIRE. You must endure to the end to be saved (Matt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11; Gal. 6:8,9); ALL who receive the mark of the beast will go to the lake of fire, including previous "SAINTS" (Rev. 14:9-12). There can be NO eternal security.

THIS LIFE IS A TEST FOR E-T-E-R-N-I-T-Y. BE FAITHFUL.

What does it mean for God to say, "I am with you and will rescue you"? Compare scripture to scripture to find out. Note Jeremiah and Paul:

"They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD. (Jer. 1:19)
persecutions, sufferings - what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. (2 Tim. 3:11)
JEREMIAH was beaten and placed in stocks (Jer. 20:2), lowered into a mud pit (Jer. 38:6), etc., yet escaped with his life. God was with him and he was rescued.

PAUL was physically beaten with fists, stoned, flogged, shipwrecked and viper-bitten etc. (Acts 14:19; 16:22-24; 21:30-32; 28:3; 2 Cor. 11:23-26; etc.); yet he escaped with his life. God was with him and he was rescued (until his departure time).

...I write to you, young men, because YOU ARE STRONG, AND
THE WORD OF GOD LIVES IN YOU, and you have overcome the evil one. (1 John 2:14)

Besides outright clear wickedness, there are also MANY DISTRACTIONS IN THIS WORLD leading away from God's will - "THORNS" and "PLEASURES OF LIFE". Be guarded - (Luke 8:5-15).

A similar warning, particular to this Time of Great Distress (a k a Great Tribulation) is found in the following verse:
Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life [THORNS], and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. (Luke 21:34)

Youths oppress my people, WOMEN RULE OVER THEM. O my people, your guides lead you astray; they turn you from the path. (Isa 3:12)
At that point in time, their "guides" were women and they lead the people astray. You must be able to detect a blind guide.

But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "LET GOD BE EXALTED!" (Psa. 70:4)

Do you know why David was a "man after God's heart"?

It certainly was not because he turned to adultery and murder. It was because he rejected false worship and led the people into true worship of God. Others were given the following promise:
Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding. (Jer. 3:15)

JESUS (NOT Yeshua) is the English transliteration of the NT Greek term for the Savior's name.

Do not be deceived by people who use the name Yeshua and reject the name Jesus.

In that day the LORD WILL PUNISH THE POWERS IN THE HEAVENS ABOVE AND THE KINGS ON THE EARTH BELOW. (Isa. 24:21)

The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small - and FOR DESTROYING THOSE THAT DESTROY THE EARTH." (Rev. 11:18)
God does not leave the guilty unpunished. That promise applies to the devil, demons and any earthly powers.

...we had told the king, "The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him,
but his great anger is against all who forsake him." (Ezra 8:22)

Ponder How God Dealt With King Belshazzar (Daniel 5)

God sent a message to King Belshazzar (the 'handwriting on the wall'), but that message was written in words unknown to him and to all others around him, even though God wanted it understood. It took Daniel, a righteous holy man, to give the king the meaning, which was a message of swift judgment upon him.

The handwriting-on-the wall message was also given, as it was, to exalt Daniel by his accurate interpretation of it.

**The above example is one of the ways God has dealt with people, and he can both condemn and indirectly commend another with the SAME MESSAGE. God is far beyond our ability to understand.

God HONORS and ALLOWS for man's free will.

That point about God is very significant because, without it, God is shown to be the most cruel tyrant who ever existed, since many people (MOST PEOPLE) will go to HELL, then into the lake of fire (Mt. 7:13,14; Rev. 20:14). God honors our free will:
Then all the people of the region of the Gerasenes ASKED JESUS TO LEAVE THEM, because they were overcome with fear. So he got into the boat and left. (Luke 8:37)
So when the Samaritans came to him, THEY URGED HIM TO STAY WITH THEM, and he stayed two days. (John 4:40)
As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him. Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, "LORD, SON OF DAVID, HAVE MERCY ON US!" Jesus stopped and called them. "What do you want me to do for you?" he asked. (Mat. 20:29-32)
Either extreme - wanting Jesus to leave or begging him to stay, God honored their request, but is this next verse an exception?
The man from whom the demons had gone out BEGGED TO GO WITH HIM, but Jesus sent him away, saying, "Return home and tell how much God has done for you." So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him. (Luke 8:38,39)
Jesus denied his request. He was not spiritually qualified to travel with Jesus and the apostles to serve, but his testimony among those who knew him probably was most effective.

**DRAW NEAR TO GOD AND HE WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU (James 4:8), but if you are like the prodigal who wanted to leave the Father to go into a distant country and sin, HE WILL LET YOU GO - EVEN IF IT IS TO YOUR OWN SPIRITUAL DEATH! God honors your freewill.

DEMONS say:

"What do you want with us, Son of God?" they shouted. "Have you come here TO TORTURE US BEFORE THE APPOINTED TIME?" (Mat. 8:29)

Demons know their days are numbered and what is awaiting them, much more so than many lost churchgoers!

Correct, Rebuke and Encourage; here is why:

Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Tim. 4:2-4)

YOU must protect yourself from the devil! It is YOUR responsibility - NOT God's - for you to stay saved:

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. (1 Pet. 5:8-9)
To be Self Controlled and Alert are the KEYS, and this relates to that:
Therefore KEEP WATCH, because you do not know the day or the hour. (Mat. 25:13) The 50% of the Virgins, who didn't "keep watch" (stay "alert") were NOT ready to meet Jesus and the DOOR WAS CLOSED TO THEM!
But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. AND WE ARE HIS HOUSE, IF WE HOLD ON to our courage and the hope of which we boast. (Heb. 3:6)

If ANYONE does not love the Lord - a curse be on him. Come, O Lord ! (1 Cor 16:22)

Can one's spiritual identity change from righteous to "wicked," even after getting God's salvation mercy? YES!

Then the master called the servant in. 'YOU WICKED SERVANT,' HE SAID, 'I CANCELED ALL THAT DEBT OF YOURS BECAUSE YOU BEGGED ME TO. SHOULDN'T YOU HAVE HAD MERCY ON YOUR FELLOW SERVANT JUST AS I HAD ON YOU?' In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed. This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart. (Mat 18:32-35)
There is NO eternal security.

Often when warning people of the lateness of the hour, many, who dodge acceptance of the truth, will try to shut down the conversation with the following verse:

"But about THAT DAY OR HOUR NO ONE KNOWS, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. (Mk. 13:32)
While WE cannot know the exact hour of Christ's return, we CAN study and compare certain, correlating passages about the distress of those [THESE] days, notably Revelation 6, Luke 21, Mark 13 and Matthew 24, among others.

Besides Mk. 13:32, Jesus also gave us the clear timing of the rapture, in regards to the great tribulation:

But in those days, FOLLOWING THAT DISTRESS [POST tribulation], the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and GATHER HIS ELECT FROM THE FOUR WINDS, FROM THE ENDS OF THE EARTH TO THE ENDS OF THE HEAVENS [the rapture]. (Mark 13:24-27)

The "Church" did NOT start at Acts 2, as some like to think.

People wrongly magnify Acts 2 in order to bolster their false Water-Baptism-for-Salvation-Belief.

The first mention of the word "church" in the NT is in Matthew 18, which declares it as an entity which could be obeyed at that time period, meaning the church already existed before Acts 2:

If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' If he refuses to listen to them, TELL IT TO THE CHURCH; AND IF HE REFUSES TO LISTEN EVEN TO THE CHURCH, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector. (Mat. 18:15-17)

There is nothing in Acts 2, or anywhere else, which can prove the church started at that point.

Water baptism is not the point of salvation. That being said, ASAP after initial salvation, a Christian is to be water baptized by immersion, but one is still forgiven (saved) beforehand. Baptism by immersion is for the pledge of a good conscience toward God. (1 Pet. 3:21)

In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the SINFUL NATURE not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ, having been BURIED WITH HIM IN BAPTISM and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead. (Col. 2:11:12)
The point of salvation occurs when one repents (turns from their sins) to submit to the Lord Jesus, putting their 100% faith and trust in him. At that point, the person is set free from their sin addictions, and the new creation in Christ has occurred.

A good test, to see if one is in the faith, is to ponder the self-applicability of the following verse:

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. (Rom. 6:22)

Does that describe you NOW?

Repentance and a Saving Submissive Faith in Jesus Result in the SAME spiritual "LIFE":

When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles REPENTANCE UNTO LIFE." (Acts 11:18)
The one who BELIEVES IN THE SON HAS ETERNAL LIFE; but the one who DOES NOT OBEY THE SON WILL NOT SEE LIFE, but the wrath of God remains on him. (Jn. 3:36, NASB)

Repentance and a saving faith in Jesus are two sides of the same coin and bring INSTANT salvation and freedom from sin's addictions, BEFORE water baptism.

Hannah, the Mother of Samuel, was a Woman of PRAYER!

In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the LORD. And she made a vow, saying, "O LORD Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant BUT GIVE HER A SON, THEN I WILL GIVE HIM TO THE LORD FOR ALL THE DAYS OF HIS LIFE, AND NO RAZOR WILL EVER BE USED ON HIS HEAD." As she kept on praying to the LORD, Eli observed her mouth. HANNAH WAS PRAYING IN HER HEART, AND HER LIPS WERE MOVING BUT HER VOICE WAS NOT HEARD. Eli thought she was drunk and said to her, "How long will you keep on getting drunk? Get rid of your wine." "Not so, my lord," Hannah replied, "I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD. Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief." Eli answered, "Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him." She said, "May your servant find favor in your eyes." Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast. Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the LORD and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah lay with Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her. So in the course of time Hannah conceived and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, "Because I asked the LORD for him." (1 Sam. 1:10-20)

Samuel was the result of her prayers; Hannah was a memorable, righteous woman. Her example also proves prayer can be SILENT and yet be effective:

Hannah was PRAYING IN HER HEART, and her lips were moving but HER VOICE WAS NOT HEARD. Eli thought she was drunk (1 Sam 1:13)

TRICK QUESTION: If God is everywhere, then is God in HELL?

ANSWER: Yes, God is everywhere. Hell is where the avenging God manifests his FURIOUS ANGER and GREAT WRATH (Deut. 29:28) on the eternally lost:
So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I AM IN AGONY IN THIS FIRE.' (Luke 16:24)
His righteous anger is shown to be "full strength" here:
A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured FULL STRENGTH INTO THE CUP OF HIS WRATH. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name." This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus. (Rev 14:9-12)

The 5 foolish virgins (Mt. 25:1-13) of our generation will have failed in one or more of the following areas:

If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. THIS CALLS FOR PATIENT ENDURANCE AND FAITHFULNESS ON THE PART OF THE SAINTS. (Rev. 13:10)
This calls for PATIENT ENDURANCE ON THE PART OF THE SAINTS WHO OBEY GOD'S COMMANDMENTS AND REMAIN FAITHFUL TO JESUS. (Rev. 14:12)
THEY OVERCAME HIM BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB AND BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY; THEY DID NOT LOVE THEIR LIVES SO MUCH AS TO SHRINK FROM DEATH. (Rev. 12:11)
strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "WE MUST GO THROUGH MANY HARDSHIPS TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD," they said. (Acts 14:22)
DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THOSE WHO KILL THE BODY but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Mat. 10:28)
As obedient children, DO NOT CONFORM TO THE EVIL DESIRES YOU HAD WHEN YOU LIVED IN IGNORANCE. But just as he who called you is holy, so BE HOLY IN ALL YOU DO; (1 Pet. 1:14,15)

**The Holy Spirit teaches, reminds and guides Christians (Jn. 14:26; 16:13). He also convicts the world of sin (Jn. 16:8). He also does various other important things, including COMFORTING the saints (Jn.16:7). IF he didn't comfort us, NONE of us would endure this sin-filled, unjust, cursed age.

We are commanded to not grieve the Holy Spirit:
And DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. (Eph. 4:30)
The seriousness of GRIEVING the Holy Spirit is shown here:
Yet they rebelled and GRIEVED HIS HOLY SPIRIT. So he turned and BECAME THEIR ENEMY and he himself fought against them. (Isa. 63:10)

GOD'S REBUKE TO JOB

To be stirred, read God's rebuke to Job in chapters 38 through 41 and note his choice mention of a few of his creatures, including the behemoth and leviathan.

Humanity has always been called to SERVE GOD with FEAR AND TREMBLING:

SERVE the LORD WITH FEAR AND REJOICE WITH TREMBLING. (Psa. 2:11)
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed - not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence - continue to work out your salvation WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING, (Phil. 2:12)
**Did you notice the words, "ALWAYS OBEYED," that is, after getting saved?

Both prophet and priest are godless; even in my temple I find their wickedness," declares the LORD. "Therefore their path will become slippery; they will be banished to darkness and there they will fall. I will bring disaster on them in the year they are punished," declares the LORD. "Among the prophets of Samaria I saw this repulsive thing: They prophesied BY BAAL and led my people Israel astray. And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: They commit adultery and live a lie. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his wickedness. They are all like Sodom to me; the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah." (Jer 23:11-14)

How could Jesus make the following promise?

He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am COMING SOON." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. (Rev. 22:20)
It's been 2,000 years, yet that promise is still true. How? Because God is ETERNAL:
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like A THOUSAND YEARS, AND A THOUSAND YEARS ARE LIKE A DAY. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (2 Pet. 3:8,9)

Here are yet two more passages which further prove that a Christian is SET FREE FROM HIS SIN ADDICTIONS:

AT ONE TIME WE TOO WERE foolish, disobedient, deceived and ENSLAVED BY ALL KINDS OF PASSIONS AND PLEASURES. We LIVED in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. (Titus 3:3)
As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; (1 Pet 1:14,15)

**At the point of initial salvation, we pass from DEATH TO LIFE (1 John 3:14), but did you know that you can also pass from SPIRITUAL LIFE TO SPIRITUAL DEATH?

If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will DIE for it. (Ezek 33:18)
For this son of mine was DEAD AND IS ALIVE AGAIN; he was lost and is found.' So they began to celebrate. (Luke 15:24)
[The prodigal went from spiritual life to "death" (as stated), then upon repentance to serve the Father he became ALIVE AGAIN.]
For if you live according to the FLESH [earthly nature, sinful nature], YOU WILL DIE; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live (Rom. 8:13).
My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will SAVE HIS SOUL FROM DEATH and will cover a multitude of sins. (James 5:19,20, NASB)

Both Apollos and John the Baptist had no recorded miracles, but each were still mightily used of God.

JESUS is our chief example, and after him, Paul:

To this you were called, because CHRIST SUFFERED FOR YOU, LEAVING YOU AN EXAMPLE, that you should follow in his steps. (1 Pet. 2:21)
FOLLOW MY EXAMPLE, AS I FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF CHRIST. (1 Cor. 11:1)
For you yourselves know how YOU OUGHT TO FOLLOW OUR EXAMPLE.... (2 Thess. 3:7)
In contrast, and without any scriptural support, Catholics sadly proclaim their mythical Mary to be their example!

Though First-Century Christians Knew Dorcas Went to Heaven, they Still Cried Over Her Departure:

In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which, when translated, is Dorcas ), who was always doing good and helping the poor. About that time she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room. Lydda was near Joppa; so when the disciples heard that Peter was in Lydda, they sent two men to him and urged him, "Please come at once!" Peter went with them, and when he arrived he was taken upstairs to the room. ALL THE WIDOWS STOOD AROUND HIM, CRYING and showing him the robes and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them. (Acts 9:36-39)
**The same grief and mourning also occurred when Stephen died, as godly people wept over his death (Acts 8:2).

When Shechem son of Hamor the Hivite, the ruler of that area, saw her, HE TOOK HER AND VIOLATED HER. His heart was drawn to Dinah daughter of Jacob, and he loved the girl and spoke tenderly to her. And Shechem said to his father Hamor, "GET ME THIS GIRL AS MY WIFE." (Gen. 34:2-4)
Though Shechem and Dinah had sexual union (he raped her), she was not his wife. Read more on that point, including other variations, proving that: Sexual Union is NOT the Point of Marriage.

So Lot went out and spoke to HIS SONS-IN-LAW, WHO WERE PLEDGED TO MARRY HIS DAUGHTERS. He said, "Hurry and get out of this place, because the LORD is about to destroy the city!" But his sons-in-law thought he was joking. (Gen. 19:14)
**They were already considered "sons-in-law" just by being pledged to marry Lot's daughters, which is so different from our hour. The period of being pledged to be married, or "betrothed" seems to be the only time "divorce" was justly permitted as shown in NT.
Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. (Mat. 1:19)
Clarification: often in our day - New Testament times, people will try to use the fornication exception to justify remarriage after divorce, but that exception was only applicable to the ancient Jewish practice of betrothal (like an engagement but legally binding). In OT times, if a man found out his bride was not a virgin, he could divorce her. However, because this sexual immorality exception only applies to ancient Jewish betrothal customs, it is only found in Matthew. In other words, today, your cheating spouse does not permit you to remarry after a divorce. Divorce does NOT terminate a marriage. ONLY death of the spouse does (Rom. 7:2,3). GO to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.' (Mat. 22:9)
Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Mat. 28:19,20)
He said to them, "GO into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. (Mark 16:15)
He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. GO ! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves. (Luke 10:2,3)
Then THE DISCIPLES WENT OUT AND PREACHED EVERYWHERE, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it. (Mark 16:20)

The deceased David Wilkerson is still an "untouchable" to some in our dark day - meaning they think the old Wilkerson at the end of his race, was just as sound as the original, sound-in-doctrine Wilkerson from decades earlier, which he certainly was NOT.

Last week 2 devastating earthquakes (7+ on the Richter Scale - the first was 7.8), occurred in Turkey. Syria was also severely impacted, as well as Greece, Cyprus, Lebanon, Egypt, Palestine, and Israel, though to a lesser extent.

Perhaps, Jesus was referring to this recent catastrophe in the following synoptic verses and chapters discussing events of the Great Tribulation (distress):
There will be GREAT EARTHQUAKES, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. (Luke 21:11 cf. Mt. 24:7, Mk. 13:8)

Furthermore, God does not share his glory with another (Isa. 42:8); rather, He commands his angels to WORSHIP JESUS (Heb. 1:6) and in heaven, Jesus receives EQUAL glory, praise and WORSHIP with the Father:

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "TO HIM WHO SITS ON THE THRONE AND TO THE LAMB be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and WORSHIPED. (Rev. 5:13,14)
Jesus now has ALL AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN and earth (Mt. 28:18). Are YOU RIGHTLY WORSHIPING Jesus?

But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you. (1 Sam 12:24)

God Sent an Open Message to King Belshazzar - the "Handwriting on the Wall"

Fingers of a hand wrote on the king's wall - a visible supernatural message FOR ALL TO SEE, unlike a personal dream or vision one might have in private. That message interrupted the king's drunken party and pronounced destruction on the king. He and his nobles drank from the goblets taken from the temple of Jerusalem and praised the pagan gods of gold, silver, bronze, iron, etc. - until God's message came:
Instead, YOU HAVE SET YOURSELF UP AGAINST THE LORD OF HEAVEN. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But YOU DID NOT HONOR THE GOD WHO HOLDS IN HIS HAND YOUR LIFE AND ALL YOUR WAYS. Therefore he sent the hand that wrote the inscription. "This is the inscription that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PARSIN "This is what these words mean: Mene : God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end. Tekel : You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. Peres : Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians." (Dan. 5:23-28)
That very night the king was slain. Also, God uniquely sent that kind of message only ONE TIME in human history.

A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal.... (Prov. 12:10)

**Do NOT be misled by that scripture. There is more to what a righteous man does than just care for his own animals.
(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) (Eph. 5:9)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Gal. 5:22,23)
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. (Rom. 6:22)

**Even unsaved people can care for the needs of their animals, as proven by all the farmers who don't have salvation, but who care for their animals. Do NOT isolate any scripture and build your beliefs upon it.

ALL sins are NOT 'sin unto death' (1 Jn. 5:16,17); sins such as worry and not being completely humble and gentle will not lead to spiritual death.

Those sins are in not in any of the listings showing who will not inherit God's kingdom, but who will reap destruction and go to the lake of fire (1 Cor. 6:9,10; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:5-7; Rev. 21:8, etc.).

Who is Watching Us NOW?

For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like men condemned to die in the arena. We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to men. (1 Cor. 4:9)
Could it be that the above verse is saying the righteous deceased, who went to heaven, are watching us?

Daniel Prayed 3 times a day, even when prayer was against the law and punishable by death (Dan. 6:7-9). Daniel also proclaimed the meaning and interpretation of dreams as well as the Handwriting on the Wall, even though the message was negative and personal to the kings (Dan. 4:22-27; 5:22-28).

**Daniel was one of the most righteous in the OT, along with Noah and Job (Ezek. 14:14), and he LIVED IN THE ORIGINAL BABYLON!

On a side note: people often say, "If only I had good Christian fellowship..... I would or would not......, but know that Daniel, Joseph and others WERE ALL ALONE, surrounded by wickedness, and Job had a wicked wife; yet, those men remained godly - without stumbling or departing from God, despite being alone and outnumbered in a pagan society.

On the other hand, Judas Iscariot (as well as the rest of the 12) walked with Jesus, witnessed firsthand the miracles, and heard perfect preaching, and yet, they all fell away (though all did come back to salvation, except for Judas).

Point: while godly fellowship is certainly an advantage, it is not determinative of whether or not we remain with God. We must actively safeguard our own soul, flee temptation, resist the devil and remain self-controlled, alert and vigilant (James 4:7, 1 Pet. 5:8, etc.). Constant bible time is vital.

"The LORD Will Provide" Expression Originated from Abraham's TEST:

Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the angel of the LORD called out to him from heaven, "Abraham! Abraham!" "Here I am," he replied. "Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son." Abraham looked up and there IN A THICKET HE SAW A RAM CAUGHT BY ITS HORNS. HE WENT OVER AND TOOK THE RAM AND SACRIFICED IT AS A BURNT OFFERING INSTEAD OF HIS SON. So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, "On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided." (Gen 22:7-14)

Here below is another HERETICAL OSAS LIE: "Born Once Die Twice, Born Twice Die Once"

That phrase is saying that if a person is only born into this natural realm without being "born again" too, he will die twice, that is, he will die physically and experience the "second DEATH" - the lake of fire (Rev. 21:8).

On the other hand, the second part of that phrase is saying if one is born "twice," that is, born naturally PLUS "born again" - he will only die once and never die spiritually or experience the second death. Clearly, that is Once Saved Always Saved HERESY and must be fought against by all Christians (Jude 3,4).

Fearing God was Exemplified by Abraham:

"Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you FEAR GOD, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son." (Gen. 22:12)

Abraham's faith and OBEDIENCE to God, as he was about to sacrifice Isaac when severely tested, displayed his FEAR OF GOD. Is that how you understand fearing God?
