Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices (Col 3:5-9)

Then he fell on his knees and cried out, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." When he had said this, he fell asleep. (Acts 7:60)Must we forgive a person who sins against us for that person to be able to get saved? NO. Some have wrongly come to that conclusion. NOTE: the repentant thief went to Paradise (Lk. 23:42,43), and surely there were people who did not forgive the crimes he committed against them. See also Mt. 18:23-27.
ALL can go directly to the Lord Jesus for salvation (Mt. 11:28,29; Jn. 5:40; etc.), regardless of what others do or don't do.

...you have heard that the antichrist is coming... (1 John 2:18)YES, he is an actual man. We know that because he is identified as a "man," plus he will be tormented forever in the lake of fire, as lost souls will be (Rev. 20:10), thereby showing he is able to feel pain, unlike a system:
Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the MAN of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. (2 Th 2:3)
This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is MAN'S number. His number is 666. (Rev 13:18)The Greek term anthropos is translated "MAN" to identify him. A few other times, the same Greek term is used, clearly identifying a man:
But since they could see the MAN who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say. (Acts 4:14)
There he found a MAN named Aeneas, a paralytic who had been bedridden for eight years. (Acts 9:33)
But Peter made him get up. "Stand up," he said, "I am only a MAN myself. (Acts 10:26)

For the LOVE of money is a root of ALL KINDS of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. (1 Tim 6:10, NIV)It is not money that is the root of evil; it is the LOVE of money, and the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil - not all evil.
People do evil things for other reasons too. For ex.: Cain didn't murder Abel over money - it was over jealousy. David did not have Uriah murdered over money, but in an attempt to cover up his own adultery. "The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil."
For the love of money is the root of ALL EVIL... (1 Tim 6:10, KJV)

NOTHING OUTSIDE A MAN CAN MAKE HIM 'UNCLEAN' BY GOING INTO HIM. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that makes him 'unclean.'" After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. "Are you so dull?" he asked. "DON'T YOU SEE THAT NOTHING THAT ENTERS A MAN FROM THE OUTSIDE CAN MAKE HIM 'UNCLEAN'? FOR IT DOESN'T GO INTO HIS HEART but into his stomach, and then out of his body." (In saying this, JESUS DECLARED ALL FOODS "CLEAN.") He went on: "WHAT COMES OUT OF A MAN IS WHAT MAKES HIM 'UNCLEAN.' For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. ALL THESE EVILS COME FROM INSIDE AND MAKE A MAN 'UNCLEAN.'" (Mark 7:15-23)

Those who oppose him he must GENTLY INSTRUCT, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." (1 Pet 5:5)A very good definition of grace is found here:
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, (Titus 2:11,12)

PONDER this:
He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. (Luke 1:53)Who are the "hungry"? Are they the financially poor, who can't afford food, OR those who hunger after righteousness?
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. (Mat 5:6)The hunger and being filled, referred to in Luke 1, are in the spiritual sense. The righteous beggar Lazarus of Luke 16 was surely hungry as he hoped for scraps from the rich man's table, while the Christians of Hebrew 11 were likewise hungry as they wandered around in goat skins, destitute and living in caves, despite the fact that they were commended for their faith (Heb. 11:39)

What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, A RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT IS BY FAITH; but ISRAEL, WHO PURSUED A LAW OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, has not attained it. Why not? Because THEY PURSUED IT NOT BY FAITH BUT AS IF IT WERE BY WORKS. THEY STUMBLED OVER THE "STUMBLING STONE." As it is written: "See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and THE ONE WHO TRUSTS IN HIM WILL NEVER BE PUT TO SHAME." (Rom 9:30-33)
"... a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall." They stumble because they disobey the message (1 Peter 2:8)**MANY others are likewise "stumbling" over how to become RIGHTEOUS. Jesus is our righteousness (1 Cor. 1:30; etc.), but it takes a submissive FAITH and TRUST in the Lord Jesus Christ, that is, a faith in Jesus which OBEYS him (Heb. 5:9; 1 John 2:3,4) - one which does God's will (Luke 8:21; Mt. 7:21; etc.). We must endure to the end to enter Paradise (Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11; Gal. 6:8,9).

The devil led him up to a high place and SHOWED HIM IN AN INSTANT ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD. (Luke 4:5)**REMEMBER: God is NOT the only source of visions! Various false religions claim VISIONS (Islam, Catholicism, Mormonism, Seventh Day Adventism, Moonies, etc.), yet those visions contradict each other, and they especially contradict the Bible.
The following verse also proves the LYING devil can perform visions:
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. (2 Cor 11:14)On an aside, a type of sign and wonder, from the devil, is the burning in the bosom than can occur immediately after one *prays about the Book of Mormon.
A similar sensation (sign and wonder) that frequently occurs is the false peace one can have after taking the Eucharist communion wafer or engaging in demonic transcendental meditation. Avoid yoga too, as many of those yoga positions are praying positions in Hinduism, and they can yield a false sense of well-being and peace.

Once again there was a battle between the Philistines and Israel. David went down with his men to fight against the Philistines, and he became exhausted. And Ishbi-Benob, one of the descendants of Rapha, whose BRONZE SPEARHEAD WEIGHED THREE HUNDRED SHEKELS and who was armed with a new sword, said he would kill David. But Abishai son of Zeruiah came to David's rescue; he struck the Philistine down and killed him. Then David's men swore to him, saying, "Never again will you go out with us to battle, so that the lamp of Israel will not be extinguished." (2 Sam 21:15-17)Ishbi-Benob was able to fight with a spearhead that weighed about 8 pounds, as mentioned in the Christian Standard Bible (CSB):
Then Ishbi-benob, one of the descendants of the giant, whose BRONZE SPEAR WEIGHED ABOUT EIGHT POUNDS and who wore new armor, intended to kill David. (2 Sam. 21:16)Ishbi-Benob must have been massive, yet Abishai killed him to save David's life.
BTW, if we compare Ishbi-Benob's spear to Goliath's spear, we see a big difference. CSB says Goliath was over 9 feet tall (1 Sam. 17:4). It also said the following about his weapon:
His spear shaft was like a weaver's beam, and the iron point of HIS SPEAR WEIGHED FIFTEEN POUNDS. (1 Sam. 17:7)Apparently, Goliath was bigger and taller than Ishbi-benob.

For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." (Rom 9:15)But these next verses show to whom God extends his mercy and compassion:

As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD HAS COMPASSION ON THOSE WHO FEAR HIM; (Psa 103:13)An example of God's great compassion and mercy is found in the teaching of the prodigal son.

When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because YOUR REDEMPTION IS DRAWING NEAR. (Luke 21:28)The immediate context clarifies the foregoing detail:
There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. AT THAT TIME they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, BECAUSE YOUR REDEMPTION IS DRAWING NEAR. (Luke 21:25-28)**That passage fits perfectly the context of Mark 13:24-27 - a clear POST trib rapture passage.
I say to you that MANY will come from the east and the west,

His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. THE DRAGON STOOD IN FRONT OF THE WOMAN WHO WAS ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH, SO THAT HE MIGHT DEVOUR HER CHILD THE MOMENT IT WAS BORN. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. (Rev 12:4,5)Again, from Rev. 12:4, it is written, "The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born." That event occurred here:
When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to KILL ALL THE BOYS IN BETHLEHEM AND ITS VICINITY WHO WERE TWO YEARS OLD AND UNDER, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: "A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more." In these lay a multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, and withered, [waiting for the moving of the waters; for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool, and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted.] And a certain man was there, who had been thirty-eight years in his sickness. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, "Do you wish to get well?" The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool WHEN THE WATER IS STIRRED UP, BUT WHILE I AM COMING, ANOTHER STEPS DOWN BEFORE ME." (John 5:2-7, NASB)At no other time in scripture do we read of such a thing; neither is that pool still functional. The first person in, when the water was stirred got healed, but only the first one! The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that CAUSES SIN and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Mt. 13:41-42)
