His goal for you is to DEVOUR you (1 Pet. 5:8). He's the "evil one" (Mt. 13:19).
He will tempt you to SIN, and he will try to discourage you and tire you out in doing good. He will remind you of past painful circumstances to try to get you in unforgiveness, to distract you from being fruitful and even dangle before you false doctrines via his servants, who can deceitfully appear as "ministers of righteousness" (2 Cor. 11:15). His false prophets can even, at times, accurately predict the future (Deut. 13:1-5). He will send persecutions to all who are living godly (2 Tim. 3:12), but **RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE.
The devil's FIERY end is explicitly clear:

Caesarea was also where Cornelius was from (Acts 10:1). The Church at Caesarea was probably comprised of Cornelius and his family and Philip and his family and many others.
