I am raising up the BABYLONIANS, that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the whole earth to seize dwelling places not their own. They are a feared and dreaded people; they are a law to themselves and promote their own honor. THEIR HORSES ARE SWIFTER THAN LEOPARDS, FIERCER THAN WOLVES AT DUSK. Their cavalry gallops headlong; their horsemen come from afar. They fly like a vulture swooping to devour; they all come bent on violence. Their hordes advance like a desert wind and gather prisoners like sand. (Hab. 1:6-9)

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. (Rev. 14:1)The names written on the foreheads of the 144,000 (who enter God's kingdom), can NOT be compared to those who receive the mark of the beast on the right hand or forehead needed to buy or sell (Rev. 13:16,17) and who consequently go to the lake of fire (Rev. 14:9-12). The two marks are completely different.

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were BOUGHT AT A PRICE. Therefore honor God with your body. (1 Cor. 6:19,20)To understand those truths will make any Christian feel extremely privileged, regardless of his earthly situation or painful trials.
Additionally, the concept of belonging to God (Mark 9:41; Jn. 8:47a) and being his slave is further reinforced in the following passage:
Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey - whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. (Rom 6:16-18)

...What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not? (1 Cor. 4:7)Those truths will help keep the Christian HUMBLE, which is vitally necessary. EVERYTHING we have, one way or another, comes back to God, including the abilities and insights he has given us. Do not allow the devil to deceive you into thinking that you are something really special or great - a self-made hero. Your enemy the devil would love to get you in pride, because God opposes the proud (James 4:6). For further insights on what the Bible says about pride, see:
Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. For your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue mutters wicked things. (Isa 59:1-3)
Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs. (Jonah 2:8)
The heretics calumniate us, by saying that we give to the saints the same honour we pay to God: but we hold that to the saints on account of their supernatural virtue, is due the WORSHIP which is called dulia; that to the Divine Mother on account of the more sublime gifts and virtues which she possessed, should be paid the WORSHIP which is called hyperdulia, and that the WORSHIP of latria is due to God alone on account of his infinite perfections, and to Jesus Christ on account of the hypostatic union of the faith with the divinity of the Word. And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest. And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but THEY HEARD NOT THE VOICE OF HIM THAT SPAKE TO ME. (Acts 22:8,9, KJV)
And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, HEARING A VOICE, but seeing no man. (Acts 9:7, KJV)**There is NO contradiction in the Greek scriptures. It is the INFERIOR KJV translation that has created that 'contradiction' (and even more confusion for the readers) which has also been exploited by Mormon missionaries, as they try to make converts (and exalt the Book of Mormon).
The Greek and modern reputable translations show an important difference and thereby resolve the 'contradiction problem' with the following clarification:
Now those who were with me saw the light but DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE VOICE of the one who was speaking to me. (Acts 22:9)They heard a voice, but didn't understand what the Lord said. The contradiction is not in the Bible, just the KJV translation.

One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, "Are you only a visitor to Jerusalem and do not know the things that have happened there in these days?" "What things?" he asked. "About JESUS OF NAZARETH," they replied. "He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place. (Luke 24:18-21)Even DEMONS called Jesus that:
"What do you want with us, JESUS OF NAZARETH? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are - the Holy One of God!" "Be quiet!" said Jesus sternly. "Come out of him!" The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek. (Mark 1:24-26)

(2 Thess. 2:1-3)Apparently, there were FALSE PROPHETS and COUNTERFEIT PAULINE EPISTLES wrongly stating the day of the Lord had already come! Paul corrected that deception.

Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs - he wants to please his commanding officer. (2 Tim. 2:3,4)We are to be good soldiers in the Lord's army and sometimes such a soldier must STAND ALONE against the enemy in battle like Eleazar and Shammah did in the natural:
Next to him was ELEAZAR son of Dodai the Ahohite. As one of the three mighty men, he was with David when they taunted the Philistines gathered at Pas Dammim for battle. Then the men of Israel retreated, but he stood his ground and struck down the Philistines till his hand grew tired and froze to the sword. The LORD brought about a great victory that day. The troops returned to Eleazar, but only to strip the dead. Next to him was SHAMMAH son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel's troops fled from them. But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory. (2 Sam. 23:9-12)

Let US not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Heb. 10:25)WHO should we be "meeting together" with?
...PURSUE righteousness, faith, love and peace, ALONG WITH THOSE WHO CALL ON THE LORD OUT OF A PURE HEART. (2 Tim 2:22)Almost all congregations in our day now are FILLED WITH FALSE DOCTRINE and SIN. Multitudes are not "PURE" in heart. IF you think you've found one that is, ask the 'pastor' this question:
Did King David lose his salvation (die spiritually) when he turned to adultery and murder? The scriptural answer is YES (Ezek. 33:18). IF the 'wolf pastor' answers to dodge the question, he might say, "David repented," but that wasn't the question. Don't let him escape the point by a distraction technique.
***BE VERY CAREFUL of the teachings you sit under. MANY have been destroyed by attending religious "meetings" held by a scripturally unqualified leader ("wolf"). (One example is Rev. 2:20.) To obey the following related command will cause most to leave their congregation:
Keep away from false teachers. (Rom. 16:17, 2 Cor. 11:4; 2 Jn. 10, Gal. 1:8,9). For a more detailed study on this command, check out the following article.Test everything. Hold on to the good. AVOID EVERY KIND OF EVIL. (1 Thess. 5:21,22)
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.... (Eph 1:18,19)
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (Eph 5:8)
And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said and DO NOT WRITE IT DOWN." (Rev 10:4)
Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "WRITE: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." (Rev. 14:13)
Then the angel said to me, "WRITE : 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!'" And he added, "These are the true words of God." (Rev. 19:9)
He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "WRITE THIS DOWN, for these words are trustworthy and true." (Rev. 21:5)

When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "SON, YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN." Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, "Why does this fellow talk like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, "Why are you thinking these things? Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up, take your mat and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins . . . ." HE SAID TO THE PARALYTIC, "I TELL YOU, GET UP, TAKE YOUR MAT AND GO HOME." HE GOT UP, TOOK HIS MAT AND WALKED OUT IN FULL VIEW OF THEM ALL. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this!" (Mark 2:5-12)
As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by." He called out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" "Lord, I want to see," he replied. Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." IMMEDIATELY HE RECEIVED HIS SIGHT AND FOLLOWED JESUS, PRAISING GOD. WHEN ALL THE PEOPLE SAW IT, THEY ALSO PRAISED GOD. When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then SHE WIPED THEM WITH HER HAIR, kissed them and POURED PERFUME ON THEM. When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is--that she is a sinner." Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you." "Tell me, teacher," he said. "Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?" Simon replied, "I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled." "You have judged correctly," Jesus said. Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and WIPED THEM WITH HER HAIR. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but SHE HAS POURED PERFUME ON MY FEET. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven--for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little." Then Jesus said to her, "YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN." The other guests began to say among themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?" Jesus said to the woman, "YOUR FAITH HAS SAVED YOU; GO IN PEACE." (Luke 7:37-50)The identity of that woman is show to be Mary:
This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was THE SAME ONE WHO POURED PERFUME ON THE LORD AND WIPED HIS FEET WITH HER HAIR. (John 11:2)

Furthermore, David was certainly saved before he turned to adultery and murder and, as a consequence, died spiritually (Ezek. 33:18). His example (as a righteous man who turned to evil) refutes OSAS; these scriptures do too: Jn. 6:66; Mt. 10:33; Lk. 8:13, 1 Tim. 5:11 cf. v.15; etc.)
OSAS is most definitely a false gospel (false plan of salvation) and, as such, is not an 'in house debate'. Separating from and calling out false teachers is not only NOT being divisive, it is a command (Rom. 16:17, Jude 3,4 etc.), and though the false OSAS teachers constitute the majority in this late, apostate hour, THEY are the divisive ones.

A kind sympathetic act can be grossly misunderstood. Such happened and resulted in David's men being shamed and disgraced by their enemies, who cut off their beards:
David thought, "I will show kindness to Hanun son of Nahash, just as his father showed kindness to me." So David sent a delegation to express his sympathy to Hanun concerning his father. When David's men came to the land of the Ammonites, the Ammonite nobles said to Hanun their lord, "Do you think David is honoring your father by sending men to you to express sympathy? Hasn't David sent them to you to explore the city and spy it out and overthrow it?" So HANUN SEIZED DAVID'S MEN, SHAVED OFF HALF OF EACH MAN'S BEARD, CUT OFF THEIR GARMENTS IN THE MIDDLE AT THE BUTTOCKS, AND SENT THEM AWAY. When David was told about this, he sent messengers to meet the men, for they were greatly humiliated. The king said, "Stay at Jericho till your beards have grown, and then come back." (2 Sam. 10:2-5)**Terrible and UNJUST things happen to us all. YOU are not the only one. STAY FAITHFUL TO GOD regardless the MANY unjust things that will yet happen to YOU.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. (Psa 19:14)
No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. But the eyes of the LORD are on those who FEAR HIM, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. (Psa 33:16-19)

(Luke 1:5,6)Some people wrongly think that one cannot be "blameless"; yet, both Zechariah and Elizabeth were. In fact, there were others too:

Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel. (1 Chron. 21:1)The details of what happened there are shown below:
But Joab replied, "May the LORD multiply his troops a hundred times over. My lord the king, are they not all my lord's subjects? Why does my lord want to do this? Why should he bring guilt on Israel?" The king's word, however, overruled Joab; so Joab left and went throughout Israel and then came back to Jerusalem. Joab reported THE NUMBER OF THE FIGHTING MEN to David: In all Israel there were one million one hundred thousand men who could handle a sword, including four hundred and seventy thousand in Judah. But Joab did not include Levi and Benjamin in the numbering, because THE KING'S COMMAND WAS REPULSIVE TO HIM. THIS COMMAND WAS ALSO EVIL IN THE SIGHT OF GOD; SO HE PUNISHED ISRAEL. Then David said to God, "I HAVE SINNED GREATLY BY DOING THIS. Now, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing." (1 Chron. 21:3-8)God was to be their REFUGE and FORTRESS. He was to be TRUSTED IN FOR VICTORY - not their great military numbers and might. The same is true for us today.
Remember Gideon and how God wanted the number of fighting men reduced to 300 (Judges 7). Judges 7:2 is key. Satan tempted David to trust in the "arm of the flesh" (his military might) rather than in God, and that misplaced trust was a great sin. The devil will attack YOU that way too! Be alert. KEEP YOUR TRUST IN ALMIGHTY GOD.

THIS CALLS FOR PATIENT ENDURANCE AND FAITHFULNESS ON THE PART OF THE SAINTS. (Rev. 13:10)Compare that to the following verse related to PATIENT ENDURANCE, PERSISTENCE and PERSEVERANCE. Also, note how those traits relate to bringing forth fruit (in Lk. 8:15).

(If you hear someone comment that Christians are singling out homosexuals and picking on them, you can point him to that truth.)
The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into THE FIERY FURNACE, where there will be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH. (Mat. 13:41,42)

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues PUT ON LOVE, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (Col. 3:12-14)
A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God. (Rom 2:28,29)
**Do YOU know Jesus (1 John 2:3,4)? Are YOU walking in the spirit?

I robbed other churches by RECEIVING SUPPORT FROM THEM so as to serve you. And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for THE BROTHERS WHO CAME FROM MACEDONIA SUPPLIED WHAT I NEEDED. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so. (2 Cor. 11:8,9)
Moreover, as you Philippians know, IN THE EARLY DAYS of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, NOT ONE CHURCH SHARED WITH ME IN THE MATTER OF GIVING AND RECEIVING, EXCEPT YOU ONLY; (Phil. 4:15)
I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I HAVE RECEIVED FROM EPAPHRODITUS THE GIFTS YOU SENT. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. (Phil. 4:18)
We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; (1 Cor. 4:12)
Or is it only I and Barnabas who must work for a living? (1 Cor. 9:6)
You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. (Acts 20:34)

but she who is self-indulgent is DEAD even while she lives. (1 Tim. 5:6).
There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. (Luke 16:19)It is implied that same rich man also had feasts because of the next verse:
AT HIS GATE was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and LONGING TO EAT WHAT FELL FROM THE RICH MAN'S TABLE. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. (Luke 16:20,21)That same rich Jew, after his death, went to the fires of Hades and was in AGONY IN FIRE (Lk. 16:24) - the same place ALL the SELF-INDULGENT are going, who die in their sins. Jesus tells us to DENY SELF:
Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must DENY HIMSELF and take up his cross daily and follow me." (Luke 9:23)
But for those who are SELF-SEEKING and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. (Rom. 2:8)

Not that I accept human testimony; but I mention it that you may be saved. (John 5:34)
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. (John 10:9)
Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." (Luke 7:50)
Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to." (Luke 13:23,24)
All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Mat 10:22)
And, "If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?" (1 Pet 4:18)REPENT or you will perish, that is, repent or you won't be go to PARADISE. To PERISH is the opposite of being SAVED. You must endure TO THE END to be saved (Mt. 10:22), that is, ENTER God's kingdom.

Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: THE SOUL WHO SINS SHALL DIE. (Ezek. 18:4)Spiritual death happened to King David when he turned to adultery and murder. Him being a "man after God's own heart" (leading people in true worship of God) didn't prevent that.
Yes, David afterwards repented and became spiritually "alive again," like the prodigal did after he repented and returned to serve the Father (Lk. 15:24) - though that is a separate example. Ezek. 18:4 (and other scriptures) show David was spiritually dead and on the road for hell BEFORE he repented. Had David died unrepentant, he would have died a lost man.
Ponder how to spot a grace changer (and how to respond). This article will help you become more skilled in obeying the command to contend for the faith and how to reply when the grace changers dodge this telling and crucial question. (Jude 3,4)
