For There Is No Condemnation in Christ Jesus

One of the semi-common arguments for eternal security is their no condemnation in Christ Jesus response from Romans 8:1. Unfortunately, it seems that very few professing Christians have ever thought much about this particular defense for that point of Calvinism. Let's look at it carefully and logically!
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (Rom 8:1, KJV)
First, both sides of this believers security controversy AGREE that there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. That, however, is NOT the issue any more than saying as long as a Christian lives holy he remains saved or as long as he continues to follow Jesus he will never perish (John 10:27,28). Of course such a holy person will remain saved and of course there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus!

Hence, for the eternal security proponents to cite that non-related scripture, suggests how hard it is for them to find scriptural support for their mythical doctrine -- a teaching which has NO biblical basis at all. [Since the Bible is free from all contradictions it is impossible that it teaches ANY two opposing doctrines, like some say about the believer's security.]

This is Why John 10:28 Does NOT Prove OSAS

Can We Ever Get Out of Christ?

The no condemnation in Christ Jesus argument confuses the issue and is just as invalid as the eternal security never saved to begin with answer cited to hide their license for sin. The real issue evolving around the no condemnation in Christ Jesus truth is, can a Christian ever get out of Christ for any reason and get in condemnation? That leads to this second question: is the belief once in the Son always in the Son sound biblically or an ear-tickling lie and snare to souls? Could it be a religious myth similar to universal salvation, the Book of Mormon and Our Lady of Fatima? The following verse is a perfect fit for our security in the Son topic:
See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. IF it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he promised us--even eternal life. (1 John 2:24,25)
Clearly, John didn't teach, our remaining in the Son was a guaranteed ongoing happening.

Jesus Disowns and Expels From His Body

The real Jesus of the bible warned his apostles that if they would disown him before man, Jesus would disown that person before the Father (Mt. 10:33)! Hence, if one is disowned by Jesus he is no longer in Christ and no longer saved. That truth alone destroys the devil's original lie to mankind (Gen. 3:4), which is the essence of eternal security heresy! Clearly, a person can get out of Jesus' family.

Furthermore, Jesus threatened to expel lukewarm believers out of his body (Rev. 3:16). Lukewarmness is another definite way one can die spiritually and get out of Christ Jesus to be condemned.

The Holy Father Severs From Christ Too

The Father will also cut one out of Christ and have him thrown into the fire over fruitlessness (John 15:1-6). God will also cut one away from Christ over unbelief (Rom. 11:21,22). These scriptures clinch it. Now we know that one who is in Christ (with no condemnation) can afterwards get out of Christ just like he was before initial salvation where there is plenty of condemnation!

Besides all of that Rom. 8:1-4 states there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus for those who don't walk after the flesh, but after the Spirit. That excludes backsliders. That also substantiates the aforementioned that it takes holy living to be included in that no condemnation.

The above are just a few of the ways to die spiritually. Other ones include believing or preaching a false gospel (1 Cor. 15:2; Gal. 1:8,9) and sinning a sin unto death. Spiritual death can happen quickly after getting born again. There are other ways and examples of spiritual casualties which are cited in The Believer's Conditional Security: Eternal Security Refuted. Such also proves there is NO condemnation in Christ Jesus, as long as we remain in Christ!
